The Story Behind BusyGirlBody
For years, I had a complicated relationship with my body.
Like many women, I felt the pressure to always do more, train harder, be smaller, be better.
And no matter how much effort I put in, it still felt like it was never quite enough.
Working in the music
industry from a young
age only amplified that
pressure.
I grew up in London and earned a scholarship to one of London’s top theatre schools at just nine years old. Movement, discipline and performance were part of my life from the very beginning. At 13, I signed my first record deal with Universal and went on to build a career as a songwriter and performer, writing records for global artists including Little Mix and NCT U, touring with artists such as Justin Bieber, Rita Ora and Jaden Smith, and collaborating on the global house record In My Arms with Ferreck Dawn & Robosonic.
Behind the scenes, though, my relationship with fitness and my body wasn’t always healthy.
Over the years I trained with some of the best fitness professionals and nutritionists, giving me valuable knowledge and a great understanding of what works!
Time away from the pressure of the industry helped me shift my mindset away from punishment and toward something far more sustainable - strength, structure and consistency.
That shift completely changed how
I approach health and fitness.
Today I combine my performance background with formal training as a coach. I’m a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer, Level 3 Pilates Instructor, hold an HNC in Dance, and I’m currently training to become a yoga teacher.
Pilates in particular has become a huge passion of mine because of the way it builds strength, control and deep body awareness.
I created BusyGirlBody because I know how many women feel stuck in the cycle of starting over, pushing too hard, and feeling like they’ve failed.
My coaching is about building discipline, structure and sustainable routines that actually work with real life, especially for busy women juggling work, family and everything else life throws at them.
Because real results don’t come from extremes.
They come from systems you
can actually stick to.
